Fujara, a shepherd's pipe from the Carpathians

The fujara has a special place among the pipes. It is unique not only in its size, but also in its artistic design and especially in its sound. Its gloominess represents the moods of a man who lived an often harsh life in the bosom of nature. It beautifully features drawn-out melodies and bubbling improvised ornaments.
