SHAMAN DRUM - Lascaux Cave Painting

This shaman drum has 40 cm in diameter. Used materials: spurce wood and deer skin. Painting on the drum's surface is inspirated by Lascaux cave painting. Lascaux caves is a complex of caves in southwestern France famous for its cave paintings (discovered on 12 September 1940). The cave contains nearly 2 000 figures and cca 900 can be identified as animals. Made in the Czech Republic.
