Drums

This shaman (Lapland style) drum has 40 cm in diameter. Used materials: spurce wood and deer skin. Painting on the drum's surface is inspirated by real find of Saami drum (see picture below).

Paintings represents Lule Sámi decoration style. This style is characterised by a horizontal line that divides in 2 parts. On the border line there usually stands three or more Gods. Sun symbol and some animals are often present.

Lascaux caves is a complex of caves in southwestern France famous for its cave paintings (discovered on 12 September 1940). The cave contains nearly 2 000 figures and cca 900 can be identified as animals. Made in the Czech Republic.

This drum has 30 cm in diameter. Used materials: spurce wood and deer skin. This drum is the smallest one. Made in the Czech Republic.

Drumstick is made of willow wood and leather. Size: cca 37 cm.
