COBRA talisman. In Egyptian mythology, cobra was the symbol of the Goddess Wadjet. Cobras served as a protection of kings and pharaohs. These snakes were also wrapped in the bandages of mummies, to grant the deceased with a safe, healthy and blessed afterlife.
