By putting the bear on this shield, the drummer - warrior receives the bear's attributes in the battle. The motive shows the bear at the entrance of a cave protecting the person who drums mainly against bullets of the rifles during the battle (coloured parallel on the left side).
Made of deerskin and wooden frame (Rawhide). Decorated by bird's feathers - symbol of lightness and velocity.
