Extra large Axe of Perun. Casted from silver. Surface is smooth and you can decorate it with your own ornaments. Size circa 4 x 4.9, weight approx. 20.0 g (!). Dimensions of the hole for the leather cord or the chainlet is cca 5 x 6 mm. Top side of the axe is decorated with GROMOVITI ZNACI (thunder marks of Perun).

Gromoviti znaci means in English thunder marks and they are devoted to Perun. These symbols used to be in Eastern Europe often engraved upon roof beams of village houses to protect old Slavs from lightning. They also represents people (dancing) around the fire - unity of the family, tribe - the Slavonic unity.

This axe amulet is based on a finding from the Khazar fortress Sarkel (Саркел) ecavated around 1930. The Slavs had controlled this fortress from 965 until the 12th century.
