SCHIAVONA

The schiavona was a Renaissance sword. This weapon became very popular in Italy during the 16th and 17th centuries. The name came from the fact that the Venetian Doge guard consisted largely of Dalmatian Slavs (Schiavoni). Total length: 90 cm, weight: 1,6 kg. This sword is blunt and constructed for historical swordplay. Material: hardened steel, leather and wood.
