This type of shoe comes from the Viking city of Hedeby, one of the most important trading centres in Scandinavia in the 9th-10th centuries.
The boots are characterised by a simple but purposeful cut and an antler button fastening - a solution that combines strength and ease of slipping on. Thanks to the hand dyeing of the leather, each pair has a unique shade and an authentic historical look.
The upper is made of high quality triple-grain cowhide leather with a thickness of 2.5-3.5 mm, the insole is made of pressed 4mm leather and the sole is completed with a rubber heel to guarantee comfort even during long wearing. The shoes are suitable for reenactors, history buffs and casual wear where honest craftsmanship and detailed workmanship are valued.
