Celtic bronze pendant of an Iron Age bearded man. This motive is taken from early La Tene bronze "mask" fibula from Mikulovice near Pardubice (eastern Bohemia). It is a very rare and unique find on Europe's scale. Age is 500-400 BCE. Motive of a head was very frequent and popular among the ancient Celts. They even kept their enemies heads in their dwellings believing they exude strength.
