Celtic silver talisman of an Iron Age Bearded Man. This motive is taken from early La Tene bronze "mask" fibula from Mikulovice, Eastern Bohemia, the Czech Republic. It is a very rare and unique find within Europe, 500-400 BCE. Motive of a head was very frequent and popular among the ancient Celts who even kept their enemies heads in their dwelling believing they would gain strength from them.
