SUN CROSS with SACRED TREE, silver pendant

Sun Cross with Sacred Tree Silver Pendant. The symbol of a cross with three offshoots was in the area of the Czech Rep. first documented on neolithic ceramics from Bylany, 6000 years BCE. It may represent an ancestral mother with her children. A similar symbol with more offshoots was also depicted on a Bronze Age fibula, on Germanic ceramics and Slavic vessels up to the Middle Ages. The cross without the circle has also been part of emboridery and Easter egg decorations.
