DOMOVOI (or Domowik) is a house spirit in Slavic folklore. In Slavic mythology every house is said to have its own house dwarf. Domovoi is a guardian of the house and he sometimes helps with household or field work. It is good to offer Him some milk, bread with salt or cookies to make him happy and he will help to make your home happy. When you move to another house, offer Him a big shoe, He will hide in it and you can easily remove Domovoi to your new home :)
