Scottish dirk with a decorative sheath with traditional Scottish thistle. Dirk (Gaelic: Biodag) is a traditional ceremonial side arm used by members of the Scottish regiments. This dagger was developed among members of the Scottish clans, especially during the Jacobite rebellion.
