This reproduction is is based in part on the famous Thorpe Falchion. The original falchion was made between t 1300 - 1320 and is probably of English origin. The weapon was found in the sediments of the Yare River near the locality of Thorpe St. Andrew, England in the 1833. The original weapon you can see in the Norwich Castle Museum.
Battle ready replica of a falchion. Material: spring steel CSN 14 260, hardness approx. 50 - 52 HRC. Overall length 77 cm, blade length: 60 cm, width of the guard: 12 cm, with of the blade: 4 cm, point of balance approx 12 cm below the guard, weight: 1,5 kg. Sword mark: Wulflund.
