A reproduction of the famous world map by Dutch cartographer Frederik de Wit (1630–1706), one of the most important mapmakers of the Dutch Golden Age. The map *Nova totius terrarum orbis tabula* depicts the known world at that time based on geographical knowledge from the second half of the 17th century and was part of luxury atlases intended for the nobility and merchants.
In addition to its precise cartographic detail, it stands out for its rich Baroque ornamentation featuring cartouches, allegorical figures, and nautical motifs typical of maps from this era.
