Discovered in the former boudoir of the Palais Cardinal in Paris. This jewel was said to have been given to the favourite mistress of the powerful French war minister, cleric and infamous womaniser of the 17th century - Cardinal Richelieu.

This delicate Baroque-inspired necklace features rose shoot details and a single black rose, accented by a dazzling black Austrian-made crystal.
