Brass buckle "Deer"
Deer played a central role in mythology throughout the ancient world. In many cultures they were considered sacred animals, messengers of the gods. Their depiction often appeared in prehistoric hunting scenes.
Deer are also an integral part of literature, heraldry and have played an important role in economic development - people have hunted them since time immemorial.
The buckle is cast in brass. Each buckle is hand-worked after casting. It is then given a patina and polished again.
