Komenský's map of Moravia has been reproduced many times; 13 copperplates and more than 105 editions are known to have been produced successively until 1778. In the Czech lands, Komenský's map of Moravia was published, without the name of the author, for the first time in 1677.
Decoration: a characteristic feature of this engraving is a strip of views at the top showing the towns of Polná, Olomouc, Brno and Znojmo. In the upper left corner there is a large Latin dedication to Ladislav Velen of Žerotín.
