The silver Musketeer Cross pendant evokes the world of the royal musketeers, made famous by Alexandre Dumas in his novel The Three Musketeers. Athos, Porthos, Aramis and d’Artagnan unite their destinies in the service of the French king. Their motto, “One for all, all for one,” expresses their loyalty to one another and their determination to stand together even in danger.
The cross formed part of the insignia of the French royal musketeers. Fleur-de-lis motifs are traditional symbols of the French monarchy. With its ornate arms and botanical decoration, this pendant recalls not only the musketeers’ adventures, but also service, honour and faithfulness to one’s word.
