As the leader of a merchant guild, mine the mines, send your ships out into the world and hire the most talented artists. Build a trading empire and impress the nobles whose favour and unlimited financial resources will bring you fame.
During the game, players earn tokens of gems and gold. They use these tokens to acquire development cards that earn them prestige points and other bonuses. The bonuses then allow players to acquire additional development cards at a lower cost. Once a player has collected enough bonuses, they are immediately rewarded with a visit from a noble (which again brings prestige points). Once a player has earned 15 prestige points, the current round is completed and the player with the most prestige points is declared the winner of the game.
