Bastet is an ancient Egyptian Goddess in the form of a lioness or cat. The Egyptian Goddess Bastet is the embodiment of femininity. Like any woman or cat, Bastet is depicted with calmness and kindness. But don't be fooled by her calmness, there is a temperament behind it. Bastet, is also considered the protector of mankind and is sometimes associated with the lion goddess Sachmet.
