The boar pendant is inspired by Germanic plate clasps from the first centuries AD from finds in Germany and the Czech Republic.
The boar has always been a revered animal for its strength. Some Norse helmets are decorated with boars on the top; the boar was a revered animal among the Celts, as evidenced by Celtic sculptures, such as perhaps the most famous boar from Tabor.
