The lacing is almost indispensable for medieval reconstruction. At a time when zippers did not exist, almost every piece of clothing was tied or fastened with cords. Even pieces of armour were sometimes fastened with these medieval cords.
We offer a set of five braided cords with sewn-on brass ends.

From the first sketch to the last stitch, they have been carefully designed and handmade with attention to detail. Our garments are inspired by historical patterns, archaeological finds and original museum exhibits where possible.
