This replica represents a ship motif from the petroglyphs at Tanum in Sweden, which date from the Nordic Bronze Age (1800-550 BC). Ships carved in stone were a symbol of life, trade, travel and the spiritual journey to the afterlife in the society of the time. Tanum, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most important rock art sites in Europe and preserves thousands of engravings of ships, animals and human figures.
This replica is made of artificial stone: 155 × 95 × 10 cm
Ideal as a gift for lovers of history, archaeology or Nordic symbolism, or as an original decoration that brings a touch of ancient Nordic mystery into the interior.
