The Head of the Druid from Mšecke Žehrovice in Bohemia is a Celtic stone sculpture dating from the 3rd-2nd century BC, discovered in 1943. It belongs to the Latenian culture and represents one of the most important European Celtic sculptures. The fragmentary sculpture preserves a face with typical features such as almond-shaped eyes, prominent eyebrows and a moustache. The headdress on top of the head is interpreted as a symbol of high social status, probably that of a druid or aristocrat. The artefact demonstrates the high level of Celtic sculpture and religious ideas.
