The Irish shamrock, the traditional shamrock, is one of the most important symbols of Ireland and its spiritual and mythological traditions. Even in ancient Celtic imagery, the shamrock had special significance as the number three was considered sacred and associated with the balance of nature, life and the spiritual world. Later, the shamrock became the symbol of Saint Patrick, who, according to legend, used it to explain the Christian Trinity. To this day, it represents good luck, protection and the Irish people's connection to their history, nature and traditions.
