Dwarves are usually associated with stocky, bearded creatures who love gold, beer and juggling hammers. They originally come from the Viking sagas. They were created by the will of the gods from the tiny bones of the dead giant Ymir, while the rest of his skeleton became the building material for the world as we know it. They are brothers of the mountains and truly born from the bones of the earth itself. Our cubes are created in a similar fashion - we grind up the best Norse giant bones we have in stock, then melt them down to create a material worthy of dwarven craftsmanship.
Dwarves are known to be the finest smiths and jewelers. They also know the magic of objects. From their workshops come the greatest treasures and most powerful weapons in the known north. It was they who forged the weapons of the gods - and that's why our dice can't be ordinary. They must be continually refined, just as the dwarves are always searching for the perfect forms enchanted in metal and stone. This set must be as sturdy as the bearded folk and as beautiful in its utility as the most perfect product of dwarven skill. We have chosen rich engravings - the numbers and symbols of the weapons are heavily highlighted and a subtle "maze" of lines form the background. Thus were created dice worthy of dvergar and their mastery.
Dwarven treasures from the sagas
Each colour combination of our dice pays homage to one of the creations of the dwarves known from the old sagas. We want your characters - be it Odin, Freya, Thor or others - to have adventures worthy of the songs of the skalds. All the gods and heroes of the North have used items made for them by dwarves. It was their wonder-working artefacts that helped them perform heroic deeds and emerge from the worst of troubles. They were their treasures - without them, everything would have been much harder. Our dice have the same goal: to help defeat enemies, bring success, and ultimately warm the heart. These are dice for heroes - tough, beautiful, and useful in every battle and adventure that cruel fate, in the hands of the Game Lord, can throw at you.
The grey-black set was created with similar technology to Gleipnir - a chain that could bind any monster, even the Great Fenrir. Like his chains, our dice were created from cat's footsteps, a woman's beard, mountain roots, and fish breath. All of which combined to give this set the ability to transcend the boundaries of ordinary dice. They should help you stand up to any test and guarantee the successful completion of any plan. Just like Gleipnir - nearly indestructible, effective and lasting until Ragnarök. After that, there are no guarantees...
