Just as useful for cutting off jammed nuts, bolts and rivets as it is for trimming rough edges of castings and removing burrs, this Estwing stone chisel is built to last. It is made from one piece of EN9 carbon steel that has been forged to provide strength and durability. This handy tool has a hardened edge that makes it easy to cut through iron, mild steel, brass, bronze, copper and other soft metals, leaving clean cuts. The tool handle is painted Estwing blue for added protection against rust and corrosion. A large protective cover around the handle provides a comfortable and secure grip while protecting the hand from injury caused by errant blows. Ideal for use in machining, casting, welding and general metal shaping and forming work when you need to remove rough edges and sprues from castings, clean up burrs from drilling and cutting and much more.

Note: stone chisels have a certain hardness. Make sure that the hardness of the material you are working on is not higher than the hardness of the chisel.
