If You're Going Through Hell, Keep Going - Winston Churchill THIRTEEN
When France fell in May 1940 and over three thousand British soldiers were evacuated from Dunkirk, at a time when the situation looked bad, Winston Churchillmade this immortal statement:
"If You're Going Through Hell, Keep Going".
And it is this wisdom that has burrowed deep into our minds and is the answer to all the ills of the world today, it makes us keep moving forward, not looking back, not staying still and waiting for the darkness to engulf you.
To represent this motif, we chose a Spartan warrior who found himself with both feet in the Underworld. Sailing his boat down the River Styx, Death is closing in on him, being stalked by phantoms, but the Spartan warrior does not give up. He makes it to the other side, where he sees a light at the end of the tunnel.
The warriors, artists, builders, writers or musicians or athletes of ancient Greece should be a model for Europe. These men knelt only when they raised the sword to grasp it firmly in their hands.
For us, the T-shirt symbolises the only hope of getting out of this bad world - simply not giving up. Underneath those cave phantoms, imagine whoever you want... maybe all those who want to dishonor and destroy our society.
We put a piece of ourselves in the t-shirt and it was created by Serbian graphic designer Saša Krieger Ristic.
