Parma - Roman roundel
The Parma is a Roman circular shield used by auxiliary units. Unlike the Scutum, the Parma is not curved but flat and is circular or oval in shape. This type of shield was also worn by standard bearers and musicians.
Our replica is made of plywood about 1 cm thick. The umbo must be attached separately using the included decorative screws.
The front of the shield is decoratively painted.
