Androcles Falto has been groomed since childhood to become a great warrior. He underwent rigorous training that made him the man he is today. Many times he faced temptation and opportunity to commit evil, but his righteousness became a local legend.
Today he was to receive the sword that symbolized the completion of his training and his appointment as centurion. He knew that his immediate promotion to the rank of Centurion Commander would raise questions. Even he himself wondered why he had been promoted to a command post in the first place. Only time would tell the truth - but he certainly wasn't going to be intimidated by the members of his unit. He was now an armed, dangerous and powerful man.
Workshop
This Roman-inspired gladius sword is made from Calimacil foam, making it suitable for LARP combat, highly durable and requiring little maintenance. It will give you years of intense battles. Its anatomy, typical of the gladius type Hispaniensis, includes a simulated wooden pommel(obviabis) and a finely crafted round handle with a stylized wooden pattern.
