Roman military tent, wall tent, natural colour
From antiquity through the Middle Ages to modern history and the American frontier period, this military tent is suitable for any historical period. It can be used as a group tent, a field hospital, or a storehouse for supplies and trade goods. It is spacious and provides plenty of room for 4 to 6 people. The side walls are approximately 60 cm high. The lower edge of the tent is closed all around with a fabric against draughts. Both sides of the tent can be opened and easily closed with metal eyelets and loops.
Setting up the tent is very quick and easy - just three people and a few easy steps. The foldable pole design allows easy transport even in smaller vehicles.
The historic military tent is treated against mould and fungi. The pure cotton canvas is very tear-resistant, yet retains an affordable price, making it an indispensable piece of equipment for medieval markets, military camps or LARP events.

Important information:
The price is excluding shipping costs. Shipping will be calculated separately due to the necessity of sending the order as a multi-piece shipment.
All dimensions are approximate and may vary slightly from the actual product. The tents are handmade, giving them an authentic look, but may have minor imperfections. Cotton is a natural material that reacts to moisture - it may shrink or stretch. Therefore, iron rods may not immediately fit exactly into their intended holes. In some cases, it may be necessary to trim the rods to the appropriate size. Never try to forcefully tension the tent as this increases the risk of tearing the canvas or loosening the seams.
Tips for erecting, maintaining and properly using vintage tents:
By following these recommendations you will greatly extend the life of your Viking, Roman, Saxon, Knight or Medieval merchant tent and enjoy it for many years:
- Do not overstretch the tensioning ropes - natural materials such as wood and cotton react to moisture in the air and need room to contract and stretch.
- We recommend loosening the ropes slightly in the evening as the humidity rises at night, which can cause excessive tension and deformation of the roof or water ingress.
- In rain or high humidity, also loosen the ropes slightly to allow the tent to adjust to the conditions.
- After exposure to moisture, it is important to dry the tent thoroughly - otherwise it may become mouldy.
- Never use cleaning products or detergents - brushing is the best way to remove dried on dirt.
- For long-term storage, separate all accessories (pegs, ropes, etc.) from the canvas and store everything separately.
- Make sure all parts of the tent are dry and stored in a dry place.
