In the dark fantasy world of Elnerth, we are in a time of war and wonder. The age of the Guardians of the Ages.

The Guardians struggle to preserve their essences, the ancestral energy that they can channel and tame through their shrines.

In the game, you become one of the Guardians, and your goal is to win over the others by summoning an army of disciples and destroying your opponent's shrines.

Choose one of six unique factions and meet your master, a legendary figure chosen from the most loyal and talented followers. Engage in battle and fulfill your destiny. Which of you will be the last survivor?

There are four types of cards in Shrine: apprentice, master, ritual, and shrine.

Apprentices are soldiers and creatures you summon to the battlefield to attack and defend shrines. Many of them also have special abilities.

MASTERS represent the most powerful characters of each faction.

RITUALS can deal direct damage, disrupt enemy formations, or enable strategic maneuvers.

WITCHES represent focal points for channeling magical energy. Once they are freed from the limitations of their abilities, their power will be felt throughout the battlefield. Destruction of all enemy shrines is a prerequisite for victory in the game.

To win, you must destroy all of your opponent's shrines. Once the last enemy shrine is destroyed, you are instantly the winner.
