Kilt - the most famous garment of the Scottish Highlanders
The kilt, the iconic garment of the Scottish Highlanders, is a knee-length plaid skirt worn exclusively by men. Since the 18th century, the characteristic tartans (patterns) have been associated with specific clans.
Our kilt is made from 8 yards of fabric, giving it a beautiful swing when moving. Special attention has been paid to the folds on the back, which are precisely arranged so that the tartan pattern is preserved. The front is double, like a wrap skirt, and fastens at the waist with leather straps and buckles. The kilt is not finished with a hem, but has a traditional woven edge.
To complete the Highlander look, the kilt can be completed with a shirt, hose and matching accessories - a kilt buckle, sporran (traditional satchel) and a wide leather belt.
