For many, snowflake of the Brdy Mountains is a symbol of these mountains. It is carved into the rock and is located near Strašice in the former military area of Brdy, central Bohemia.
The spruce twig and the beech leaves in the diagonals symbolize local forest. It is a symbol of bushcrafters since 1960 in communist Czechoslovakia, it is a symbol of freedom and scouting.
