Trilobites are one of the most famous fossils and are loved by collectors all over the world. These extinct marine arthropods lived in the primordial seas approximately 521 to 252 million years ago. Their body is divided into three parts and they have a distinctive segmentation that makes them easily recognizable. Trilobites had a hard shell that is well preserved, which is why they are one of the most commonly found fossils.
Trilobite fossils are found all over the world. The most famous sites include Jince or Skryje in the Czech Republic, as well as Morocco, the USA and Canada.
