This bag is the result of professional passion, combining saddlery craftsmanship with an understanding of the need for reliable equipment in the field. The idea of having such a bag at hand during expeditions, inspired by old and proven designs, developed over a long time. Creating the prototype and testing it was not easy. We are satisfied with the result and have done everything to ensure that you will be satisfied as well.
The bag is equipped with a sturdy handle and a leather shoulder strap with adjustable length and a movable slider for comfortable carrying even when the collected samples become heavier.
The firmly attached holder for a geological hammer features an embossed trilobite symbol. The area where the hammer is inserted is made of brushed leather, which helps prevent scratching.
Taking the hammer in and out is probably the most frequent action when searching for fossils, and in this case it is simple and saves you valuable time.
The internal construction of the bag is divided into two compartments.
One is designed for notebooks and field books, including our notebook created specifically for this purpose – size: 16 × 22 cm.
The second, spacious compartment is intended for rock samples, fossils and minerals. It is roomy, strong and flexible. We also included five loops for storing pencils and pens.
Although millions of people around the world are involved in this field, finding such an "Old School" expedition bag is not easy.
The bag was designed by masters of saddlery craftsmanship and a geologist.
The production is handmade, which means we can personalize the product – for example with monograms – and other custom modifications are also possible.
