Made of Ag 925/1000 silver, decorated with four faceted peridot stones in sizes 5x7 mm (oval and pear), it brings the look of Gothic and Renaissance ornaments right up to the present day. The stones are arranged in the shape of a cross, complete with tiny silver balls and a central silver point - a composition that recalls the ornate reliquaries or medallions of the masters of the Venetian School.
Peridot, known for its sparkling green colour, was considered a stone of purity and protection from dark forces in the Middle Ages. It was prized by clerics and rulers alike and was often set in religious objects and crown jewels.
