Royal Air Force Ceremonial Sword

Designed by the Air Ministry in 1925, the Royal Air Force Sword has since become an integral part of the attire of Commissioned Officers. This regulation RAF ceremonial sword represents a symbol of honour, tradition and dedication to service, and has been used for nearly a century at ceremonial occasions of the British Air Force.

The blade is made of EN9 high carbon steel, ensuring strength and durability. It is richly decorated and features the detailed Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom. The surface of the blade is smooth with a subtle satin finish.

The hilt is made of polished brass, with a guard inspired by historical British swords. The grip is covered with faux rayskin and carefully wrapped with twisted brass wire for improved handling.
The pommel features a beautifully detailed Royal Air Force eagle.

It comes with a leather scabbard reinforced with brass fittings and equipped with brass suspension rings for attachment to a uniform belt.
