Almond mead is one of the most popular. The characteristic sweet almond flavour is most pronounced when this mead is heated to 50-55 °C. However, it can also be served cold. It is a dessert boiled mead with 13% alcohol content, made from the best quality Czech honey. Marcel Gregor has been beekeeping since 2005. In addition to his original food science background, he is also a trained beekeeper and has also become a beekeeping teacher and beehive inspector. He is a beekeeper with dozens of bee colonies in modern hives on the border of the Polabie and Žďár Hills. He is the chairman of the oldest Czech beekeeping organization in Chrudim (founded in 1864). Honey and bee products are processed in his factory in the village of Sobětuchy near Chrudim. In addition to pure honey and honey with nuts or fruit, he also produces mead, propolis products and honey confectionery.
