A very successful reproduction of a Great Moravian target with a falconer on horseback. The original find comes from Staré Město na Moravě near Uherské Hradiště. This fused jewel from grave XV in the Old Town Na Špitálkách is considered to be the culminating work of Great Moravian toreutics.
A rider on horseback carries a bird of prey on his left hand. The target was found in 1949 during archaeological research. The original is stored in the archaeological department of the Moravian Museum in Brno.
