The Irish Wool Scarf Winter Stripe is inspired by winter landscapes, overcast skies and the muted colours of the colder months. Shades of blue, green and grey are woven in a traditional herringbone pattern and combined with distinctive broad stripes.
The scarf is made from 100% lambswool and woven directly at the Foxford mill in County Mayo in the west of Ireland. Fine lambswool is lightweight, naturally warm and breathable. At two metres long, the scarf can be wrapped several times around the neck or worn loosely draped.

Foxford Woollen Mills is one of Ireland’s traditional woollen manufacturers. The mill was founded in 1892 in the town of Foxford, County Mayo, in the west of Ireland. Its founder, Mother Agnes Morrogh-Bernard, sought to create employment and improve living conditions for the local community through the production of woollen textiles. Woollen blankets, throws and scarves are still produced there today.
The scarf is woven directly in Foxford, Ireland, where the tradition of producing woollen textiles has continued for more than 130 years.
