Introducing the new premium outdoor chef's knife Helle Dele - the ultimate companion for your culinary adventures. Designed and built with functionality, form and durability in mind, it's ready to face the demands of outdoor cooking - and look great doing it.

We worked with professional chefs who spend as much time outdoors as they do in the kitchen - like Norwegian chef Margit Dale - to develop it. After 24 months of development, we're proud to say we've created a tool that bridges the boundaries of the kitchen with the magic of nature.

The name Dele has a double meaning in Norwegian - "to divide" and "to share". This perfectly describes our vision for Helle's first chef's knife in 60 years: a tool that accompanies you when preparing food - whether around the campfire, on the grill or in the kitchen at home - together with those you care about.

The highly polished 12C27 steel blade guarantees a razor-sharp edge and easy cutting of anything. At the same time, it has a strong enough spine to handle chopping and tougher cuts. The blade shape combines the tradition of the European chef's knife and Japanese santoku, offering a great balance between precise control for small cuts and enough size for larger tasks. The Dele features a full flat grind across the entire height of the blade.

The ergonomic handle is inspired by the belly shapes of traditional Helle outdoor knives and provides a comfortable and secure grip. The flat guard between the handle and the blade allows for a secure forward grip when chopping vegetables, while the fuller grip allows for comfortable slicing even when working harder. The handle is made of birch root - a material with antibacterial properties and a unique pattern that makes no knife the same.

The standard version of the Dele comes with a leather blade guard that is easy to put on if you want to store the knife safely at home, take it with you on the road or on a hike.

For even better carrying, we've developed a new leather Helle Knife Cover that fits the Dele knife perfectly (but also fits other knives). This cover protects the entire knife and can be easily hung in the kitchen, at the cabin or at the campsite.
