Knife Nying HELLE
The Helle Nying is our most classic knife ever. Short, stocky and with a unique design that is second to none. Some find it ungainly, but for those who use it, it's a beloved tool for long moments of carving around the campfire.
The Helle Nying has been praised for its unique and timeless design - and equally dismissed by those it doesn't suit. Still, it's one of our most loyal companions to strap to your belt. It's been proudly produced at Helle since 1977, and in that time more than 1 million have been made - which is a lot for a small factory like Helle.
The handle is distinctively shaped to provide a firm grip and good control over the blade. A small finger rest guides the hand into a secure position even when held close to the blade. This knife is designed for moments of relaxation and carving.
The Nying comes in an attractive leather sheath with a stylized cutout resembling the flames of a fire. The sheath features a locking strap that attaches to a rivet at the end of the handle. A leather hanging loop then allows the knife to swing freely on the belt in the Norwegian manner.
