Forged by the gnomes of Tir Tochair, Zireael was a 200 year old gwyhyr, a blade considered the finest in the world. The sword was made of dark iron and the shape of the blade resembled a flame, as is customary in Gnomish tradition. The blade was engraved with floral ornaments and a tower with a swallow on top.
