Lord of the Rings - Sword of Anduril, Lord of the Rings

Original Lord of the Rings sword from United Cutlery.

This officially licensed replica sword from the Lord of the Rings trilogy is Andúril, the sword of King Elessar of Gondor. Andúril was forged from fragments of the sword Narsil, worn by Aragorn, heir to the throne of Gondor. Aragorn used Andúril in his battle against Sauron's forces, and after his final victory he took the name Elessar.

The inscription along the length of the blade on either side is in Tolkien's Quenya language, written in the runes of Eregion:
Nányë Andúril i né Narsil i macil Elendilo. Lercuvanten i máli Mordórëo.

It means:
I am Andúril, who used to be Narsil, the sword of Elendil. Let the slaves of Mordor flee from me.
Aragorn gave him the name Flame of the West.

• Blade material: hardened 420 J2 stainless steel, decorated with engraved lettering.
• Hilt: solid metal guard and pommel with antique-silver plating and 24K gold-plated accessories. The pommel is decorated with elven script and the handle is covered with genuine leather. Rat-tail tang construction.
• Included is a wooden display board, silkscreened with the symbols of the Kingdom of Gondor. Mounting accessories and instructions included.
