This replica belt set is based on surviving artefacts from late 14th and early 15th century England. It is based on photo-documentation of finds from a private archaeological collection, which are not normally displayed in museums, but represent authentic examples of late medieval belt fittings.
The set includes a typical belt buckle and end cap, suitable for a 30 mm wide belt, as was common on medieval belts worn by the bourgeoisie, nobility and members of the lower military classes.
The brass finish guarantees strength, durability and a historically faithful appearance, suitable for reconstruction of late medieval clothing, reenactment, LARP or as a stylish collector's accessory.
