The seven-armed candlestick, Hebrew menorah, is one of the oldest and most important symbols of Judaism. According to legend, it was made from a single piece of gold for the Tabernacle and later stood in the Temple in Jerusalem. Its seven arms symbolize the seven days of creation and the divine light that brings wisdom and spiritual guidance. After the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 AD. The menorah became a symbol of the Jewish people and the hope of renewal. It is depicted, for example, on the Arch of Titus in Rome and today it also forms the national emblem of Israel. The menorah expresses the continuity of tradition, faith and spiritual identity of Judaism across the centuries.
