Replica of the Prague Groschen made of silver, inspired by one of the most famous coins of the Czech Middle Ages. The original groschen gained prominence thanks to its high silver content, sourced from the silver mines of Kutná Hora (Kuttenberg) under the patronage of Wenceslaus II. This motif still recalls a period when the Czech lands were among the financial centers of the region.
The coin is suitable as a collector’s item, a gift for history enthusiasts, or an accessory for reenactment equipment.
The casting preserves many details, and the overall appearance corresponds to the medieval original.
These coins, produced in a base metal version, were made for Warhorse Studios for the gaming convention Gamescom 2025.
