The "Roman Gladiators in Battle" decal set includes a full-color A4-sized card, the inside of which features a scene from the Roman Colosseum, the arena where gladiator fights took place. On the back of the package, you’ll find a picture of two gladiators in combat to color, along with historical information.
The set also includes a sheet with more than 35 transfer decals of Roman gladiators, soldiers, and wild animals. The decals are applied to the card by rubbing them in, allowing you to create your own gladiatorial combat scene.
A gladiator is an armed fighter who, during the Roman Republic and Empire, entertained audiences in violent clashes with other gladiators, wild animals, and convicted criminals.
The reverse side of the card depicts a retiarius, armed with a net and a trident, and a secutor, who fights with a sword and shield.
